Elonex Outdoor Media has joined with other leading media owners in the Digital Out of Home (DOOH) market to commemorate Armistice Day.
Whilst Remembrance Services took place across the UK, at 11am on 11th November 2014 the entire network of Elonex digital roadside screens displayed a field of poppies in tribute to the service men and women who have lost their lives whilst serving in conflict since the start of the First World War.
This act of remembrance was replicated by several other DOOH media owners in an initiative which was lead by industry body, the Outdoor Media Centre.
Many of the Elonex digital screens showed static images of poppies, whilst fully animated images of poppies falling from the sky appeared on Elonex digital screens in Birmingham and Manchester. These images were also broadcast across the Elonex digital network two days earlier on Remembrance Sunday, in poignant displays that couldn’t fail to grab the attention of commuters and passers-by.
