Birmingham-based digital display technology provider, Elonex is backing one of the city’s best known sports stars as he bids for Cup Final glory at the home of cricket this weekend.
Elonex will be Jonathon Trott’s official bat sponsor as he lines up for Warwickshire County Cricket Club in the Royal London One-Day Cup Final at Lords on Saturday 17th September 2016.
Warwickshire take on Surrey in the final of the prestigious 50 over competition, with the match creating a showpiece finale to cricket’s domestic One-Day season.
The sponsorship deal involves Elonex branding being included on Trott’s bat at the game, which is set to be played out in front of a sell-out crowd at Lords and to millions watching on Sky Sports TV.
In a distinguished career, Trott has performed at the very top of the game and has won multiple trophies with both England and Warwickshire, and Saturday’s Final gives him another chance to get his hands on yet more silverware.
Elonex has a long history of being associated with high-profile sport and over the years has brokered many sponsorship deals in football, rugby and cricket, including being shirt sponsors of the Birmingham Bears when they won the NatWest T20 Blast in 2014.
Elonex is also the Official LED and Technology Partner, and Exclusive Sales Partner for LED advertising at Edgbaston Stadium, and hope its backing, and that of the whole city, will help drive Trotty and the team to glory at Lords.
