Elonex Outdoor Media commemorated the World War One Centenary by displaying a poignant single flickering candle on roadside LED screens in Manchester, Birmingham and alongside the M6 in the West Midlands.
This act of remembrance was part of a national ‘Lights Out’ vigil where everyone in the country was invited to leave just a single light on or candle burning for an hour between 10pm and 11pm on Monday 4th August 2014, to mark the 100th anniversary of war being declared in 1914.
Several leading members of the digital outdoor media community were involved in the initiative across the UK, which was arranged by industry body the Outdoor Media Centre, with Elonex Outdoor Media proudly taking part in Manchester and the West Midlands.
