The Brindleyplace Dragonboat Race will once again feature an Elonex Giant Digital Screen broadcasting all of the live action from the event, which will raise funds for Cure Leukaemia
Now in its seventieth year and well established as one of Birmingham’s most successful annual corporate fundraising events, the Brindleyplace Dragonboat Race attracts thousands of spectators and the huge 22m² Elonex screen will be located in Central Square, Brindleyplace to relay a live feed of the Dragonboat racing taking place close by on the Birmingham and Worcester canal.
With the giant screen in operation, visitors to the Brindleyplace Dragonboat Race can look forward to watching all of the rowing action, whilst also enjoying the exciting programme of family-friendly activities, including Oriental-themed live music, dancing and street performers, taking place in Central Square throughout the day
The Brindleyplace Dragonboat Race takes place on Saturday 19th June 2016.
The event sees teams from West Midlands-based businesses go head to head racing traditional Chinese longboats on the canal in front of the Barclaycard Arena, with all the proceeds going to Elonex’s official charity partner, Cure Leukaemia
