Elonex is to fit dozens of Birmingham black cabs with new roof-top advertising screens.
The new taxi top digital screens will deliver real-time and precise location advertising, and have the ability to broadcast breaking news, weather updates, traffic advice and emergency public information.
Elonex will manage advertising sales and broadcast content on the screens, following the firm’s successful roll out of a similar project in London.
Birmingham City Council’s Licensing and Public Protection Committee approved the scheme recently, and the first taxi top digital screens in Birmingham will go live during October 2018.
