Large-format Elonex LED screens were in place at multiple public events over the August Bank Holiday weekend, adding to the spectacle and entertaining big crowds at Music and Film Festivals across the Midlands.
Each of the screens featured the very latest Elonex High Dynamic Range LED Technology and were all supplied on a bespoke rental basis following weeks of planning and preparation.
Working closely with event organisers, each individual project was delivered by the Elonex Experiential team, who needing to meet tight deadlines completed the mammoth task of installing numerous screens at different venues in time for each event.
A huge team of Elonex Engineers were then out in force over the entire weekend, attending each event to manage and operate the screens.
A mixture of large-format semi-permanent rigged LED systems and portable LED screens were utilised at the Bank Holiday events, which included the Solihull Summer Festival, Wyre Forest Movie Marathon, Mockingbird Outdoor Cinema Festival and the Regency Wharf Open Air Film Festival.
Music lovers at the Solihull Summer Fest got to see all the big acts, such as Peter Andre and Lulu, up close on a huge 32 square metre stage-side Elonex LED screen, while movie goers were treated to box office hits including Spectre, Top Gun and Back to the Future on various size Elonex big screens at all of the film festivals.
Commenting on a busy weekend, Nick Smith, CEO at Elonex, said:
“I’m extremely proud of the whole team for successfully delivering multiple and complex projects at many different venues over the August Bank Holiday weekend. Rental screens at large scale public events are a fast growing element of our business, and we’re rapidly becoming the ‘go to’ firm to supply, install and operate the very latest LED technology at venues across the UK.”
