Warwickshire County Cricket Club has agreed a new partnership with Elonex to be its Official LED & Technology Partner and Exclusive Sales Partner for LED advertising at Edgbaston Stadium, in an exciting five-year deal.
Elonex, which has worked in partnership with Warwickshire since 2013, will receive branding on the back of the Bears’ Royal London One-Day Cup shirt and will implement new LED advertising opportunities within Edgbaston Stadium.
Gareth Roberts, Commercial Director at Warwickshire CCC, said: “With 32 days of Major Match cricket confirmed at Edgbaston until 2019 and Elonex delivering the very latest digital display equipment, brands will have the best possible opportunity to reach the international audiences we attract.
“Elonex are market leaders in the LED and Digital Outdoor Media market and boast the largest network of digital advertising screens in the Midlands. We’re very excited about the new opportunities that can develop from this partnership and are delighted to extend our agreement for a further five years.”
The partnership will also see Elonex open a new office on-site at Edgbaston to extend its number of regional business hubs in the UK, and to utilise the stadium to showcase the latest LED equipment and digital branding opportunities available to businesses across all sectors.
Nick Smith, CEO at Elonex, commented: “This new agreement further develops the relationship that we’ve enjoyed with Warwickshire County Cricket Club over the last two years, during which time we’ve worked hard to introduce new and exciting digital advertising opportunities at Edgbaston Stadium.
“We were proud to sponsor the Birmingham Bears NatWest T20 Blast champions last season, and with a long association with professional sport, Edgbaston is yet another major sporting venue where our expertise in implementing innovative stadium technology will continue to bring huge benefits to spectators and advertisers alike.”
