Major Brand Exposure at The Ashes Produces Big Results for Elonex Advertisers

Whilst the third 2015 Ashes Test Match produced an emphatic victory for England over Australia, the game at Edgbaston also provided the perfect setting for Elonex to once again showcase its expertise in the delivery of dynamic digital advertising content at major sporting events.

With capacity crowds packed in at Edgbaston Stadium on all three days of the third 2015 Ashes Test Match, Elonex delivered a constant stream of digital advertising throughout the entire game on behalf of clients, from large corporate international brands right through to local SME businesses.
Over the course of the game, Elonex broadcast a total of 21,600 digital advertisements via a combination of the Elonex digital banner on the iconic scoreboard at Edgbaston, and a large format Elonex mobile digital screen which was situated in the main spectator catering area at the stadium.
The digital banner on the scoreboard, which has been a feature at Edgbaston for the past two seasons, was in action at all times of the game and the high impact advertisements broadcast on it were always clearly visible to the crowd inside the stadium and to those watching on TV.
Live coverage of the Test Match together with fully animated digital advertisements was aired on the large format digital screen located in Edgbaston’s ‘Food Bowl’, and very quickly became a fans favourite as it allowed them not to miss a minute of the action from inside the ground, which in turn proved invaluable for advertisers.
Early calculations show that 1.16M Audience Advert Impacts (figures exclude TV audiences) were achieved by the two Elonex digital sites at the Test Match, presenting advertisers with an effectively targeted and clearly defined  mass sporting audience through the power of real-time digital advertising.
In addition to the unmissable digital output, Elonex also provided International brands with lots of outstanding static advertising exposure inside and outside of the stadium, and facilitated the naming rights and sponsorship of a 800-seat temporary stand that was in place specially for the Test Match,  on behalf of Turkish Airlines.
