The giant Elonex digital advertising screen at Axis Tower in Manchester turned blue last night (Thursday 26th March) as part of a national campaign to salute the NHS.
Landmark buildings throughout the UK took part in the ‘Light It Blue’ initiative to say a very public thank you to NHS workers as they fight against the coronavirus outbreak, with the screen at Axis Tower joining in with city-wide support across Manchester.
‘Light It Blue’ was inspired by the NHS ‘Clap For Our Carers’ campaign, and was led by leaders in the events and entertainment sector who wanted to create a simultaneous show of support by inviting landmarks across the country to #lightitblue.
