With a long and successful association with high profile sport, global technology firm Elonex has facilitated a new and exciting sports sponsorship deal for Falken Tyre Europe.
In the deal brokered by Elonex, Falken Tyre Europe is to become an Official Partner of the First Utility Super League, Ladbrokes Challenge Cup & Rugby Football League.
Falken’s involvement comes after Elonex, an official partner of the Rugby Football League, struck an agreement on the use of its Rugby League sponsorship rights to allow the Japanese high-performance tyre manufacturer to reach a new sporting audience.
It’s the first time Falken Tyre Europe has ventured into sponsoring a sport outside of motorsport, and the deal will initially see their branding at all major Rugby League matches including the recently announced Test Series featuring England and New Zealand in the autumn.
Falken’s Director Matt Smith said: “Rugby League offers Falken a chance to reach a broad range of enthusiastic fans relevant to our product range. We wanted a trusted sport whose values matched our own, and in conjunction with Elonex, Rugby League was the perfect fit.
