Elonex Back Chamber Bid to Drive Business Growth

April 27, 2016

Elonex is backing the drive for business growth in the region and playing an instrumental role in promoting the huge benefits of becoming a member of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC).
Over recent weeks, Elonex has been running an unmissable digital outdoor marketing campaign to highlight the GBCC’s most extensive membership drive for years, and advertisements showcasing the Chamber’s exciting offer to new members have been broadcasting to huge audiences on Elonex roadside digital billboards in and around Birmingham.
As part of its commitment to local business growth, Elonex is also one of the principal sponsors of the GBCC Annual Dinner and Awards at the ICC, which will attract over 950 guests to what’s set to be the city’s biggest business event for years. The digital-out-of-home media experts also plan to launch an exclusive offer to GBCC Members immediately after the event, which is intended to provide as many local businesses as possible with the opportunity to reap the benefits of promoting themselves across the extensive Elonex Digital Network .
Paul Faulkner, chief executive of the GBCC, said: “We are delighted to have Elonex are one of the principal sponsors at our annual dinner and awards.
“Their work as part of our membership refresh has helped to generate enormous interest in the Chamber and has certainly contributed to our achieving such a great result for the dinner.
“Members may ‎have seen Chamber advertising on Elonex billboards on the M6 and A45 around the new membership packages and this has demonstrated what Elonex Outdoor can offer to members and other local organisations looking to raise their profile.
“It has certainly worked for us and as a result there has been a huge surge of interest in membership of the Chamber and has driven a massively increased amount of traffic to our new website.”
Adam Stockton, managing director of Elonex, said: “We’re excited to be working so closely with GBCC and to being a principal sponsor at the biggest event on the Birmingham business calendar.
“Partnering with a new look and more dynamic Chamber which is focussed on driving business growth in the region really does sit well with the enabling-others-to-prosper ethos Elonex has always held.
“The GBCC advertisements we’ve been running have certainly made a big impact and we trust the new Chamber members advertising package we’ll be releasing immediately after the event on Thursday will be very well received by the local business community.
“This collaboration with the Chamber, which is the latest in a string of similar initiatives with major organisations in the city, further strengthens Elonex’s commitment to Birmingham and to championing the excellence it delivers across many different sectors, and we look forward to working with all of our fellow Chamber members going forward.”
The Elonex Digital Network reaches out across a multitude of environments to enable businesses to target specific audiences with high impact digital advertising. Elonex operate large-format roadside digital screens located on all major routes in and out of Birmingham, have a huge number of LED screens in the UK’s best known shopping centres and supply the very latest in stadium visual technology to major sports clubs  and entertainment venues.
Over the years Elonex has become a key player in the local business community and a keen supporter of many organisations based in the City. The firm has close links to Birmingham charity Cure Leukaemia and holds official partnership status at major city venues such as Edgbaston Stadium and the Barclaycard Arena. Elonex is also heavily involved in delivering digital screens at city events, such as the Frankfurt Christmas Market and the Brindleyplace Film Festival, supplied the big screen at the Bullring for last year’s Rugby World Cup, and has recently been media sponsor for the 25th anniversary of Symphony Hall Birmingham.
